Story of the wine:
La Mancha is a large vineyard area in Spain’s central region south east of Madrid. The Denominación de Origen vineyards of La Mancha cover a larger area than all of Australia’s vineyards put together! Bodegas Campos Reales’ vineyards are at higher altitude than most of La Mancha and are surrounded by forests; consequently have cooler summers and night temperatures. The Gladium is a Roman sword found in archaeological excavations near the winery’s vineyards.
