Sales Executive - London


VinumTerra is looking for a driven, ambitious and charismatic Sales Executive to join our London sales team.

Since 1991 our speciality has been the wines of Italy and in 2015 we extended our philosophy of working with a unique range of vineyards that provide integrity and faithfulness to the land and grape to our new international range. We now import and distribute a portfolio of wines from around the world that offer high quality with extremely good value. We are a trade-only supplier working on an ex cellars basis to both on and off trade from warehouses in London and Edinburgh.

The role is suitable for a commercially focused, ambitious and career driven individual. You will be confident, enthusiastic and charismatic with excellent communication skills. You will take initiative, be proactive and take complete ownership of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a high level of business acumen and must have some B2B sales experience. Your will be able to encourage both new and current clients to begin or maintain a mutually beneficial long-term relationship, through an excellent and honest customer service and being able to analyse the customers wine range to understand your customers’ requirements and spot sales opportunities.

You will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Skills required for the role:

Job Title:

Accounts Assistant 


We are looking to recruit a reliable and flexible Accounts Assistant in our busy Accounts Department, on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate will be articulate, fast learner and be able to demonstrate high level numeracy skills. Candidates studying towards a relevant qualification such as AAT or ACCA are preferred. A good knowledge of Sage is not essential but beneficial, although full training will be given. The purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the accounts department in the course of their work, may help accountants directly, helping them complete daily tasks, with bank reconciliation, ensuring that all transactions are correctly processed, credit control and sales/purchase ledgers are maintained, or may work indirectly, keying in data and compiling information. You must be competent using Microsoft Office and proficient in Microsoft Excel. Excellent spoken and written communication skills are a must as you will be the first point of call in the Accounts Department handling queries.


The successful candidate will be looking to develop their career in finance. Either having had experience previously, or having recently graduated and looking for their first move into finance.


Accounting Assistant Job Duties and skills desired:


- Enter and code financial transactions appropriately

- Process payments as well as documents like invoices

- Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold

- Make and track payments

- Review employee expenses and make reimbursements

- Make bank deposits and keep up records

- Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs

- Validate invoices against items or services received

- Check all financial transactions for accuracy

- Key data into company accounting system

- Completing purchase orders

- Completing bank reconciliations

- Processing business expenses

- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies

- Verifying bank deposits

- Managing day-to-day transactions

- Posting daily receipts

- Reporting on debtors and creditors

- Respond to supplier queries on a timely basis

- Input invoices into the system

- Chasing outstanding debts via telephone and email

- Raising sales invoices, posting invoices onto accounts system

- General admin

- Strong work ethic

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent analytical and organisational skills



Salary: £20k+
